For today's lesson, I've tuned my banjo to Open A tuning (AAE). To tune up your banjo, head on over to the tools tab.

The great thing about how these banjos are designed and tuned is that our tablatures stay the same for every song. As long as your banjo is tuned to the standard 8, 1, 5 pattern, GGD in the case of Open G or AAE in the case of Open A, you can play the same chords I do and perform the song in different keys, from F to B.
