How to Read Play-By-Color Tablatures

In this lesson, I've played "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in the Key of A using Standard A Tuning (aAE). If you'd like to play along with the video, go to the tuner in the Tools tab and tune your banjo to Standard A tuning.

Note: All of the songs we've covered so far can be played in either Standard G or A tuning—it's simply a matter of which key suits your voice best. You can use the same tablature provided above for both tunings.
